This product is one of Adaptonic’s plug-in ECUs. Also called RX7 S6 or FD Twin Turbo.
Our main objective in creating the Adaptronic Modular ECU line is to work towards Adaptronic’s mission which is to give people control. In doing this, we came up with a system which would give people greater flexibility and at the same time, overcome the limitations of Adaptronics main product line, the Select ECUs.

The RX7 S6e/M0d011 ECU plugs directly into the factory loom, with additional inputs and outputs available on unused pins in the factory connector. The additional pins you have access to give you the following options:

• • • An additional 2 injector outputs
    • An additional O2 input, and 2 additional 0-5V inputs for logging or other functions like sequential box strain gauges
    • Additional ignition output for conversion to direct fire
    • Oil pressure, fuel pressure and oil temperature inputs (plus we read the fuel temperature input and use that in the fuel density calculation)
    • CAN (Wideband lambda can be connected via analogue input, or via serial.)

This is the standard stuff that we normally use on our services, offering a higher viscosity than the recommended oil, 15w40 will help protect the inside of your engine better especially the stationary gear bearings (a key weak point on the RX-8 when using 5w30)

This oil is supplied in a 5 liter can and should be enough for a oil change plug 1-1.5 liters spare for top ups.

We recommend 3000-6000mile (or 6 months) oil changes to keep your oil as clean as possible.

The MSD 8.5 mm Super Conductor wire is the performance wire engineered from the inside out, the 8.5mm offers everything you have ever wanted in a wire; incredibly low resistance without electronic interference! In a single 12 In. length of Super Conductor wire there is only 40 to 50 ohms of resistance! That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire. To accomplish this, MSD use a copper alloy conductor due to it’s great voltage carrying capabilities. The low resistance results in less loss of spark energy so more reaches the spark plug. The conductor is wound extremely tight around a special center core. So tight, that there is over 40 Ft. of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective electro magnetic interference (EMI) choke.

• Copper alloy conductor has a resistance value of less than 50 ohms per foot for superior spark
• Ferro-magnetic impregnated core creates an effective EMI choke
• Forty feet of conductor is wound into a single foot of wire for high EMI suppression
• Conductor core features Dupont Kevlar material for increased tensile strength

This high flow RE-medy water pump is designed to prevent cavitation at engine speeds as high as 10000 rpm.
