The CCI twin disc provides the most economical racing clutch for the active sport compact enthusiast. This ceramic twin disc comes with a 4140 forged flywheel and a 6061 T6 aluminium cover complimented with a 6150 steel diaphragm. These units are rated to hold 500 to 1200hp (depending on application).

Competition Clutch Stage 4 Clutch Kit for RX-7 FC3S TurboII

6 Pad Sprung Ceramic Kit good for up to 600hp.
Stage 4 – Spring Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit.
This assembly, available with a six puck sprung plate is good for penetrating engagement with higher horsepower applications. This disc complimented by a performance pressure plate provides up to 250% increase in torque capacity. 300-mile break-in recommended with this set-up.
The 1620 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a six-puck high torque sprung disc with Ceramic buttons, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.

Stage 3 – Street / Strip Series 2600 Clutch Kit.
Great for heavily modified Forced Induction RX-8’s but keeps a streetable clutch pedal feel
This segmented Ceramic material with a performance pressure plate will provide the ultimate in street and strip combinations. This assembly is suited for up to 150% increase in torque capacity. Provides quick but smooth engagement and extended life. 300-mile break-in recommended with this set-up.
The 2600 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with segmented Ceramic facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.

Competition Clutch Stage 2 Clutch Kit for RX-7 FC3S TurboII

Stage 2 – Steel Sprungback Brass Plus.
Street /Track Series 2100 Clutch Kit, Rated for handling up to 450hp
A great priced option for street use while still being extremely capable on the track.

This assembly provides up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up. 300-mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up. (Some kits may not be supplied with all pieces. Please verify with Competition Clutch before ordering).

The 2100 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel backed Brass Plus facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment.

Many owners are choosing to replace their clutch Master and Slave Cylinder as a precautionary measure, There is nothing worse then a brake down due to a leak on either of these cylinders.

Common signs of slave cylinder failure include

  • The Pedal failing to return to the top when released
  • Clutch fluid leaking from the Cylinder
  • Inability to select gears

This is the Master Cylinder you will require if your using a Turbo II Gearbox in your RX-7, it is worth noting that this is different to the EGI Slave cylinder.

Counterweight for RX-7 13bt Turbo II Engine

This is a rear counterweight to fit the 13bt found in the RX-7 FC3s Turbo II
These counterweights are required if you are installing an aftermarket lightweight flywheel such as our Racing Beat lightweight flywheel or an uprated clutch/flywheel kit.
Make sure your order one of these with your new flywheel or it cannot be fitted.
Please note that this item is compatible with the 13bt engine found in RX-7 FC3s Turbo II if your using the 13bt Engine in another vehicle this is still the counterweight you will require.
This Counterweight will not be suitable for your RX-7 FC3s EGI engine due to the difference in weight

Clutch Release Bearing

A high quality clutch release bearing for push type clutches found on the RX-8 and RX-7 FB and FC3s
It is highly recommended that this bearing is replaced at any opportunity  due to the considerable labor involved if it fails.
Please note that this will not fit the FD3s clutch if it has not been converted from pull type clutch mechanism to push type.
This part can also be referred to as a Throw Out Bearing or Thrust Bearing.
